This team makes the worship space inviting. They bring doughnuts and make coffee. They greet you at the door and make sure you have a program and know where the restrooms are.

This team makes the worship time for kids something special. They prepare the room and the materials. They help keep your kids safe with the check in and check out procedure. They help the team leader implement the lesson and keep the kids on point.

This team prepares the worship space and Bridge Kids rooms. They put up the theme elements, set up chairs, and put out banners. They make sure everything is ready to go and they pack it all up when we are through on Sunday.

This team helps create a worship environment through audio & visual elements. The team includes musicians, vocalists, the sound team, and the visual tech team.

Eric Lee, Pastor

Eric and Jessica have three children and moved to Bartow County in the summer of 2008. They are native Georgians, big Georgia Bulldog fans, avid tennis players, and want to see the church make a positive difference in people’s lives.

Eric is a graduate of the University of Georgia (UGA) and spent five years in real estate-related tax consulting before becoming a pastor.  He's a little on the "Nerdy" side.  Eric served for 6 years as an assistant pastor at Varnell UMC and graduated from Asbury Theological Seminary with a Masters of Divinity (MDiv.) in 2007.

Ryan Carson, Ministry Coordinator 

Ryan spent the better part of his youth playing sports and dreaming of being a professional baseball player. What young man's story doesn't start that way?

At 16, God grabbed Ryan's heart and completely rearranged his desires and plans. Sports and other worldly pursuits became less and less important as God replaced them with a desire to know Him and make Him known. Ryan quickly discovered that God had given him a new found knack for playing and creating music.

Since then, he's been leading worshippers of all ages in multiple environments. He is currently following God's plan by building worship teams here at The Bridge.

Ryan's wife is April.  Their daughter, Kate, was born in October of 2007.

In the summer of 2008, founding Pastor, Eric Lee, met with a group of  followers of  Jesus  from the Cartersville & White communities in the conference room of America’s Best Inn & Suites. Together, they planted a new United Methodist Church in east Bartow County, Georgia.  They met regularly to worship also held events and community service projects to invite and involve people in a church that was truly interested in changing lives and bridging gaps to the community.

 
The name,”The Bridge”, was chosen to reflect the “bridges” to God, each other and the community through Jesus Christ.  The Bridge is built on relationships: our relationship with God and our relationships with each other.

 
The small group grew into a crowd.  By the summer of 2009, the group rented and remodeled a storefront in the Stone Mill Village shopping center on Ga. Hwy 20 one mile east of Interstate 75.  Weekly worship celebrations moved to the new location.  Small study groups began, and invitations continue to friends, family, and the community to know God and BE the Church.  The Bridge gives time, energy, and money regularly to help meet the needs of people in their community.  The people of The Bridge have a desire to make an impact and build strong, lasting bridges in the name of God.

Love God.  Love People.  Build Bridges.

Worship on Sunday morning is just one way that we are the church together. We also learn and grow together through our Small Groups and help the people around us through regular Service Projects.
