The school system has grant funding to pay for the food. Our role will be to get the food, pack it in the bags and get the bags to the schools each Friday. <span class="smalltext">Eric and Jessica have three children and moved to Bartow County in the summer of 2008. They are native Georgians, big Georgia Bulldog fans, avid tennis players, and want to see the church make a positive difference in people&rsquo;s lives.</span><br />
<br />
<span class="smalltext">Eric is a graduate of the University of Georgia (UGA) and spent five years in real estate-related tax consulting before becoming a pastor. &nbsp;He's a little on the &quot;Nerdy&quot; side. &nbsp;Eric served for 6 years as an assistant pastor at Varnell UMC and graduated from Asbury Theological Seminary with a Masters of Divinity (MDiv.) in 2007. </span><br />

<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-family: Arial;"><span class="smalltext">Ryan spent the better part of his youth playing sports and dreaming of being a professional baseball player. What young man's story doesn't start that way?</span></span></span><span style="font-family: Helvetica;"><o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-family: Arial;"><span class="smalltext">At 16, God grabbed Ryan's heart and completely rearranged his desires and plans. Sports and other worldly pursuits became less and less important as God replaced them with a desire to know Him and make Him known. Ryan quickly discovered that God had given him a new found knack for playing and creating music.</span></span></span><span style="font-family: Helvetica;"><o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size: 12pt;"><span style="font-family: Arial;"><span class="smalltext">Since then, he's been leading worshippers of all ages in multiple environments. He is currently following God's plan by building worship teams here at The Bridge.</span></span></span><span style="font-family: Helvetica;"><o:p></o:p></span></p>

She is passionate about helping children develop trusting, lasting relationships with Jesus Christ. &nbsp;</span></p>
<p class="yiv1542380789msonormal"><span style="font-family: Arial; ">Jordan is a UGA alum and recent graduate of Asbury Theological Seminary with a Masters of Christian Education. Jordan has served at many churches around the US including Chicago, Athens, GA, and most recently Lexington, KY.</span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size: 12pt; "><span style="font-family: Arial; ">In the summer of 2008, founding Pastor, Eric Lee, met with a group of &nbsp;followers of&nbsp; Jesus &nbsp;from the Cartersville &amp; White communities in the conference room of&nbsp;</span></span><a href="http://www.americasbestinncartersville.com/"><span style="font-size: 12pt; "><span style="font-family: Arial; ">America&rsquo;s Best Inn &amp; Suites</span></span></a><span style="font-size: 12pt; "><span style="font-family: Arial; ">. Together, they planted a new United Methodist Church in east Bartow County, Georgia.&nbsp; They met regularly to worship also held events and community service projects to invite and involve people in a church that was truly interested in changing lives and bridging gaps to the community.</span></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size: 12pt; "><span style="font-family: Arial; ">&nbsp;<br />
The name,&rdquo;The Bridge&rdquo;, was chosen to reflect the &ldquo;bridges&rdquo; to God, each other and the community through Jesus Christ. &nbsp;The Bridge is built on relationships: our relationship with God and our relationships with each other.</span></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size: 12pt; "><span style="font-family: Arial; ">&nbsp;<br />
The small group grew into a crowd. &nbsp;By the summer of 2009, the group rented and remodeled a storefront in the Stone Mill Village shopping center on Ga. Hwy 20 one mile east of Interstate 75.&nbsp; Weekly worship celebrations moved to the new location.&nbsp; Small study groups began, and invitations continue to friends, family, and the community to know God and BE the Church.&nbsp; The Bridge gives time, energy, and money regularly to help meet the needs of people in their community. &nbsp;The people of The Bridge have a desire to make an impact and build strong, lasting bridges in the name of God.</span></span></p>

Our celebrations include a live band, people singing together with enthusiasm, and sermons that offer everyday application out of Biblical truth.
